Grands Frères Grandes Sœurs du Grand Montréal
Grands Frères Grandes Sœurs du Grand Montréal pairs young people with caring adult mentors who show up, week after week. Those relationships build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging at the moments when a child needs it most.

No Child Should Grieve Alone
Aucun enfant ne devrait vivre son deuil seul
Through grief camps, year-round gatherings and compassionate programs led by trained professionals, Myra's Kids Foundation creates safe spaces where children can share their story, remember the person they lost, and begin to heal alongside others who understand.
Our goals
- Help normalize the grief process for children
- Help children learn to cope with their grief
- Provide a safe space to grieve alongside other children who have experienced loss
- Allow grieving children to honour the memory of their loved one
- Equip educators, mental health professionals and community workers with trauma-informed approaches
Our programs
- Monthly support groups for children, teens, caregivers and extended family
- Holiday and special event programming
- 4-day summer camp weekend retreat for ages 14–17
- 3-day summer camp weekend retreat for ages 6–13
- 3-day winter camp weekend for young adults up to 21
- 1-day Family Grief Camp
All programs are offered at no cost to families.
